Great Scouting Information and Entertaining Too!

Love the show, its entertaining and has great information for scouts and leaders. In one episode Steve and Buttons cover the policy and resoning behind "Two Deep Leadership" (something every leader in Scouting needs to understand) and a bunch of really great jokes that I am going to use in future Pack meetings (Thanks Buttons!). Over all this podcast is worth your listen, there is a lot of knowlege and experience behind this production.

A Great Addition to PTC Media!

This is yet another of my top favorites. I just love to listen to the Great Scoutmaster Steve bring a little nostalgia from Troop 68 in Melrose into a really well produced audio-only podcast. I just love the Melrose video podcast but it's very hard to get work done while watching the video. With this very awesome show, the video is not a distraction because there is none. It is a wonderful thing to listen to great scouting audio while I'm at work. I tell you what, there is nothing better than scouting podcasts to keep your scouting spirit as high as possible and Around the Scouting Campfire is a key show for me to do just that! Well done Steve and oh yeah, Buttons. :-)

A Great show and a good listen.

Hello, I just turned 19, and I became an eagle scout last year in February. My time in scouting has given me a great many experiences to look back on and remininse about, ever since I started as a Cub Scout 13 years ago! Scouting and its ideals are still prevalent in my life even now as I attend my second quarter of college. It's great to hear a podcast like this one that revives the spirit of scouting in those of all ages. I love it and wish that you Steve would a show more frequently, because I already can't get enough of it! Thanks for bringing back some great memories, and establishing many new ones with more to come! -Kent
