Brass tacks marketing
In a quickly moving online world, the best marketing is still creating relationships. Alyson understands this and this is why I follow her. She knows how to create a connection with your art collector for the long term
I discovered Alyson’s old podcasts a few years ago and was very happy to see she’s started doing new ones again. I love the helpful advice to artists from someone who’s been in the business a long time. The show is great for tips and motivation! Thank you, please keep them coming!
Im so glad this podcast exists
This podcast is candid and among the most realistic artist advice out there. It’s so helpful to hear real stories of how artists are making a full time living doing something that they love.
To be honest, there are some things that could use improvement. The episodes are infrequent, and I would say the host isn’t the most polished interviewer (she sometimes interrupts her guests). I love when interviewers give their guest the room to speak and explain their feelings, so in that regard I think there’s some space to grow.
Overall, it’s a must listen if you are like me and would love to be doing your art full time. You’ll get so many ideas and it will open your eyes to all the possibilities in your career.
