As an individual psychotherapist with limited background in ASD, listening to this podcast has helped me gain a better understanding of the challenges facing parents and other family members of people on the spectrum. Since ASD has historically been under-diagnosed, I believe that many adults have dealt with ASD in their families of origin without realizing it.
Better Boundaries are the BOM!
Boundaires really help to define the joy in our lives and you really nailed it. Letting go of control and draw the boundary....POWERFUL!
Heart and wisdom!
I’ve learned so much from Janeen and her guests throughout this podcast. I’ve been working with the autism population for over a decade, and there is always more to learn. Janeen’s lived experiences, her humor and authenticity, makes this Podcast top of my list. I’d recommend to anyone!
