Description

Hosted by Glenn and his very special guests, this podcast is a virtual trip back in time to the halcyon days of our childhood - the 1980s (and early 1990s). Every week we explore at least one facet of 80's pop culture, discuss questions from our listeners, and report the news from at least 4 of the main franchises of the 80's that are still around today!

80s rule especially the cartoons, movies and toys

Great show, especially for bringing up nostalgia in these tough economic times in the States..ahh to relive the era of the best decade the 80s: Michael Jackson, Madonna, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, He- Man, Transformers, GIJOE, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the best there was, the best there ever will be...maybe except without the internet and the Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Pamela Anderson, and the Dark Knight movie.

Surviving

While I cannot lie & say that the loss of Paula, Becka, & Sam doesn’t severely injure the once-brilliant, familial chemistry that the fantastic four had, Glenn is doing an admirable job of sailing on solo, bringing on guest co-hosts of varying degrees of audio clarity that are for the most part also fun to listen to. It’s like if all that was left was the Black Lion, sure he couldn’t form Voltron anymore, but he’d still be fun to watch on his own. So that’s Glenn I guess- Raphael without the other 3 Turtles-still a knowledgeable, savvy, humorous force to be reckoned with - or at least listened to.

opinionated - complaining Host Ruins the podcast

Awful podcast! The host is very irritating and overly opinionated. If the subject is not to his liking, he utterly bashes it over and over relentlessly to the point where you feel compelled to leave a bad review. Everyone else is pleasant but the host ruins the entire listening experience.
