Great revealing interviews by artistic types
I really enjoyed listening to the interviews. These are genuine cool people I can relate to that are all working in creative endeavors like me and trying to make it work. Great genuine honest down to earth show. And top notch production (clean sound, music, editing) make it a joy to listen to. Keep making more!
I’m a big fan of this new podcast … Reasons I dig it:
- Inspiring stuff; I listen to this while working out in the mornings, and it makes me excited to create new things later that day!
- Kurt’s a wonderful host; even though he IS an actor, you can tell he’s not faking his genuine interest in the accomplishments that his guests have made.
- Nice audio quality; the sound is crisp and clear, and the music is classy and fades in and out with slick editing.
- Unique stories; as an artist myself, I love hearing about other artists’ workflows and creative process. Beyond that, it’s also nice to hear how they went about overcoming adversity to live out their dreams.
Bad Headshots with Kurt Larson is truly fantastic. It is perfect for anyone that is currently, or has ever thought about trying to carve out a living in a creative field. As an artist, business owner, educator and family man myself, I find listening to Kurt's interviews with other creative minded people incredibly inspiring. There's no clear plan on how to live such a life, but it helps to hear how others have gone in search of theirs. It also helps to have a thoughtful/delightful host - which Kurt has proven himself to be. His ability to make the guest feel comfortable with sharing their struggles and successes is admirable - on par with the likes of Teri Gross, Ira Glass and Chris Hardwick. So what are you waiting for? Click subscribe, listen and get out there and make something!
