Get to know your own city

I'm from the Baltimore area and I've resided in the surrounding burbs as well as downtown. Every city has its own unique culture and history, Baltimore is no exception. So interesting to learn even more of its history, struggles, and visions for the future. The host does an amazing job of weaving storytelling from the people that make up the neighborhoods and fabric of this vibrant place.

Best way to learn about Baltimore

Excellent writing and good stories well told.

Like, stop saying like!

This is a really interesting podcast, but sadly, the millennial? hosts are unable to control their eighth grade speaking patterns. It seems to be worse when they speak giggly to each other, but it’s more controlled when they’re interviewing a mature person ; e.g. Rebecca Hoffman of AVAM. Many podcasts with untrained speakers like these go into the grownup’s delete box because of this annoying speech habit. Snap a rubber band in your wrist every time you, like, say, like. Or see a speech therapist, for the sake of your career.
