Refreshingly Real and Authentic

It’s not often that you see an accomplished professional be completely honest about the highs and lows of their experiences. It’s inspiring, as well as encouraging. Being an African American in a space with the upper echelon of the world, most often feel that they must present themselves as a perfectly wrapped package and neglect being comfortable to fully be as they are. I’m currently going through a period where I’m working on pushing off the assumed expectations of others and gaining the confidence to be myself in any and all situations. It’s a liberating feeling and your podcast kickstarted the completion of this process. Thank you for your honesty and wisdom!

Intro to Startups

Dawn and Kaleem enlighten listeners to so many nuances of startup life. You don't know what you know until you know it and they drop some Bars on content, paperwork, money and other CYA information that you didn't know you needed. An amazing entry level podcast for those entering into a new business venture. Disregard the studio quality and sound in the first two episodes...they figure it out and it's well worth sticking in.

Love the jewels but...

Dawn has lots of knowledge to drop and can be rapid fire and Kaleen brings a slow down, which is great balance to the podcast. But Kaleen your slow needs to be MORE precise. Listen to yourself take of note of unnecessary repetition of jargon. I enjoy the podcast keep on so we can keep on
