Description

The Fast Break Sports Network’s Basketball Friday Night in West Virginia is your most comprehensive source for West Virginia high school basketball on the radio dial. West Virginia's only live syndicated high school basketball program provides coverage and recaps from high school gymnasiums from the coalfields to the panhandles. Hosts Ryan Epling, Coach Ric Morrone, James Collier and guests provide fans with continuous score updates, interviews, and analysis of the evening's games along with recaps of high school basketball games that were played throughout the week. Originating from the WMUL-FM studios on Marshall University’s Huntington campus, Basketball Friday Night in West Virginia airs each Friday night from 9:00 p.m. until midnight. The Fast Break Sports Network crew works behind the scenes with play-by-play crews, correspondents, coaches and statisticians across West Virginia to make certain all the scores are continually updated for our radio listeners and website viewers. "Basketball Night," as the hosts commonly call it, first hit the airwaves in December 2013. Every live episode is produced entirely by student and volunteer broadcasters.
