Becoming

David Dwight and Nicole Unice are two of the best people on the face of the earth, and I'm thankful to know them personally. This podcast is fun, meaningful, encouraging, and worth every second of your time to listen. I am so glad David and Nicole have come together to produce this podcast for the world to hear. Enjoy!! If you are ever in Richmond Virginia stop by to meet them at Hope Church on Patterson Avenue.

Communion

Probably one of the most profound episodes yet. When it was time for communion this weekend, I was jolted to examine and consider the sacrifice analogy Jesus was using during the last supper to describe the process. It has changed my heart and my part even more and I thank you for that. Also, while I really enjoy the topics that pertain to God and the intersection of real life, sometimes the banter in the beginning is hard to take, granted it is real life too. But the discussion on feet... I am grateful for fast forward in those moments.

What Is Accountability?

Really found the depiction of relational openness as "equity" intriguing. The longer I live in the faith the more I am convinced that any meaningful interaction is most likely to come from a loving relationship and not from mere acquaintanship. The current culture pushes us, frequently through technology, towards shallow acquaintanships that we mistakenly label as friendships. True friendship that is loving and relational comes from time and face to face, ever-deepening, transparent/vulnerable conversations. It's soul talk as Dr. Larry Crabb puts it. Thanks for this great message.
