Customer Reviews

You always get more than you bargain for!

So I consider Good Beer Hunting the best beer podcast in the known world, but Beervana is a close second. And that's mainly down to production values ;)

Jeff Alworth and Patrick Emerson provide me with an hour a week that is by far my most reflective, stimulating hour of thinking about beer. The interplay between Jeff's comprehensive knowledge of brewing and beer styles (what would you expect from the author of The Beer Bible?) and Patrick's perspective as an economist produces a fantastically provocative and educational listen.

What I love most about this pod are the frequent and unexpected dives into sidealleys of musing that may have little to do with the episode's title but have everything to do with what's going on in beer right now.

If you are serious about beer, this is one seriously good podcast for you.

Excellent Beer Podcast

This is my favorite beer podcast and one of my favorite podcasts period. Jeff and Patrick know their beer, but they also have a sense of humor. I’m not much of a review writer so I’ll end it here except to say that I enjoy this podcast because it is essentially a focused discussion of beer between two exceptionally knowledgeable friends. Hard to beat that.

Too quite

I love the discussion and topics, but I listen on my phone on the train and the volume is so low (my volume is all the way up and I have no problems with other podcasts), especially during interviews, I can't listen. I'll give it a couple more weeks, but if it doesn't change I'm going to have to unsubscribe, sadly.
