On each episode of Behind the Shot, Steve Brazill takes a unique approach to interviewing amazing photographers. When we admire a photographer it’s usually because of the art they create, yet interviews rarely look at the process involved in creating it. In this podcast we turn that idea upside down. You might think of Behind the Shot as an interview of the photograph. We try to understand the thought process behind a shot, from inception to completion, and all the challenges along the way. Through this inspirational show you’ll gain insight, and new ideas, as we get inside the mind of great photographers by taking a closer look at their work. Join us as we take a look Behind the Shot.

What a great idea for a podcast. Who doesn't love going behind the scenes (or the shot, in this case) to see how an artist makes their art? I'm not even a photographer, so I never would have guessed that there would be such incredible stories behind a single photo.
Plus, photography seems to be taken for granted nowadays (Everyone is now a "photographer" with their smartphone), but when we look at the shots that are highlighted on this show, we see what a real professional photographer is like.
Looking forward to future episodes!
Great for photographers or even people who just like a good story
*Everyone* has seen a photo and wondered "what's the story behind that?" As a casual photographer, I enjoy the the technical details. But, it's the story of the process that I really appreciate. Subscribed!
Love listening and seeing all of the guests and topics that you cover and uncover from Behind the Shutter!! Thank you for your dedication and onsite to the craft.
