Great for gearheads!
If you're interested in music equipment or software then you'll really enjoy it because it goes into the mentality behind the people who are pushing music creation technology forward. If you want to work in the music instrument business, listen to it!
Supporting a Colleague. Worth it.
I'm not a musician. I'm an entrepreneur and started listening to support Matt. I am learning a lot. Matt's guests have been interestng and enthusiastic. Musicians themselves, they are promoting their new, innovative products that help musicians and increase accessibility to playing music. Matt elicits responses that help the uninitiated (me) understand the basics while not talking down to me or the professionals. I love hearing Matt fan-boy out over the guests, and Matt and the guests fan-boy (so far) out over interactions the guests have had with famous musicians trying out their products. Matt reveals more of himself with every episode, but the spotlight is squarely on the guests, giving them plenty of time and encouragement to tell their stories.
