Making history accessible to all!

Ben Franklin’s World is an incredibly accessible and interesting podcast about Early American history. It’s no boring academic podcast - host Liz Covart has engaging conversations with guest historians and unique historical insights that she shares with her listeners in each episode. Anyone with an interest in history should listen to this excellent podcast.

Great show. Thorough, probing, w/ wonderful surprises

I’m still a "newby" to BF’sW, but I appreciate esp. that Liz doesn’t limit her choice of reporting guests to men only, or men-favored (like some certain related early American podcasts tend to do). And she lets guests flesh out their arguments through pointed questions, never forgetting at the end of a discussion what exactly had initially precipitated it. May have more to say once I’ve heard more, but so far I’m quite impressed.

Academically sound yet engaging for all.

As an historian, librarian and a member of various lineage societies, I have learned so much through these podcasts to put my family in historical context. Liz Covart does an excellent job of selecting engaging topics and drawing out the historians with probing questions. I am always amused by the Time Warp segment. I have recommended this series many times. Good job, Liz!! Keep it up!
