New types of people interviewed with a likable and engaging host. In a world where the same performers jump back and forth doing each others podcasts, this is a refreshing change of pace.
I really like this podcast! Jay finds a nice balance of getting information and just allowing a real conversation to happen. The guests are also a cool mix of people who've had great success, but aren't necessarily media-savvy famous folks who have canned answers to questions they've been asked a million times.
If you are into Film and TV to the extent that you are curious about the folks who make said pleasures and what their "jobs" are like, then this podcast is for you. The personable host engages in lively conversations with up and coming practitioners at length about what their craft is like, the path they took to get there, and lessons learned along the way. I've thoroughly enjoyed every episode and always am looking forward to the next "best job ever".
