Great little intro !
I am the same age as you - and pretty much discovered the Twilight Zone around the same time.
Looking forward to this podcast.
Great Start!

really?

this guy seems really full of himself, which sometimes is okay for podcasts. but not in this case. its a twilight zone podcast but for some reason the host is posting a months worth of episodes all about himself? why should we care? it would be okay if it was entertaining and not so cringeworthy and awkward. the first episode starts with a promo for the podcast that i’ve already heard. which immediately turned me off from the show (why is he advertising his show on his own show?). then he uses sound effects to aid his “performance”. which is exactly what this is -- a performance. it makes it insanely awkward to listen to. id be willing to listen to more at this point, but i’m going to have to wait a month just to hear him actually get to the point of the podcast and if his reviews are like this first episode, i’m sure they’re going to be filled with completely unrelated side tracks (what a surprise, you hate religion. i cant wait to hear that shoe-horned into every episode). theres a bit about star trek with the trek theme song played under it that goes on far too long (this is a twilight zone podcast, isn't it?). and he cant even get the tone right when he switches to segments he obviously recorded seperately. the worst part is he doesn’t even get into talking about the twilight zone itself until 10 minutes into a short 17 minute episode but then it doesnt take long for him to start congratulating himself for using the internet to find out when certain episodes aired. no thanks
