||CleanThe Black Hebrew Israelite Movement and Q&A||On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank discusses the cover story of the Christian Research Journal titled The Origin and Insufficiency of the Black Hebrew Israelite Movement. The basic claim of this movement is that all African Americans descend from the ancient Israelites. Toward the end of the nineteenth century, Frank Cherry claimed to receive a vision in which God told him that African Americans were the true descendants of biblical Hebrews. Likewise, William Crowdy claimed to have a similar revelation. Each of these men started churches and laid the foundation for this movement. Although the Black Hebrew Israelites have had a large impact on the African American community, its historical and biblical assertions are unfounded. Hank answers the following questions: Can you explain your MUSLIM acronym? Is the New Jerusalem a literal city? Is Ephesians 4:9 teaching that Jesus descended into hell? Is tithing still required today? My son passed away in a tragic car accident and I’m trying to understand why this happened. Since he was cremated, will he still be able to go to heaven? Was this God’s will? In your previous comments, were you equating Black Lives Matter with the black Muslim movement?||9/26/2016||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanBest of BAM: Politicians Reflect the Culture and Q&A||On today's Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank shares his thoughts on Hillary Clinton's visit to North Carolina. Clinton made a big issue out of gender fluidity by leaving no room whatsoever for what the civilized world has always believed about gender. If you believe gender is determined by biology, you are considered a bigot. According to Clinton, we're not even allowed to think about this anymore; it's a settled issue. Likewise, Tim Kaine, at a recent Human Rights Campaign dinner, misconstrued the most basic message of Genesis chapter 1 and applied it to same-sex marriage. In this epic moment in human history, we must remember that politicians are reflections of the culture.Hank answers the following questions: Luke 17:34 says that two men will be in one bed and one will be taken and the other left. We don't know who God will save so we shouldn't judge? What is the dividing line between a true Christian and someone following a cult? What would you say about the seeker-friendly movement; have they changed the gospel? How will someone looking at creation in say, Congo, understand that he is a sinner and needs salvation through Jesus? How does one go about increasing their faith? I have some family members that I can't seem to reconcile with; what will this situation look like in heaven? How should we perceive other world religions; are people all seeing the same thing, but interpreting it differently? What biblical view best suits the age of the human race? Do think it's possible that humans have been around for 100,000 years?||9/24/2016||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanWhat the Size of the Cosmos Doesn’t Say about Mankind and Q&A||On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank highlights an article in the Effective Evangelism section of Christian Research Journal titled, What the Size of the Cosmos Doesn’t Say about Mankind. The current scientific narrative claims that man is utterly insignificant in the universe. Since we’ve discovered that the Earth is not the center of the universe, then mankind must be unimportant as well. What we should note is that this is a secular philosophical argument dressed up in scientific clothes. Consider the self-contradiction of Richard Dawkins who believes that everything is material and therefore, there is no good or evil. Yet he believes that racism is evil, so he is blind to his own paradigm. The reality is that the immensity of the universe speaks of God’s ineffability. Hank answers the following questions: Do you have any advice for someone seeking God’s will? How can you live with yourself by falsely telling people that your religion is the correct religion? I read that the book of Ecclesiastes has been altered and postdated Solomon; how can we know the historical reliability and inspiration of Ecclesiastes? Why aren’t you working to convert Muslims instead of shooting them down? Some people came to my door and asked what I thought Christianity was and that I need to be saved from hell, so I said that I’m essentially saving myself from God. How is this not correct? Since there are rewards and consequences, how can there be free will?||9/23/2016||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanA Matter of the Heart, not Color and Q&A||On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank shares his thoughts on the recent shooting of Keith Lamont Scott and subsequent riots in Charlotte, North Carolina. Despite being shot by a black officer, Scott’s brother said that all white people are devils. This animus sounds very much like the teaching of the Nation of Islam. According to Lewis Farrakhan, blue-eyed, white men are devils. In stark contrast, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s niece, Alveda King, gives her poignant insight by pointing out that this is a matter of the heart, not a matter of color. Hank answers the following questions: My daughter claims to be a Christian, but is also in a same-sex relationship. How should I respond when she says that since we don’t observe many Old Testament laws, why should we adhere to laws against homosexuality? Must the Sabbath still be observed? Does the Bible speak of biometric tracking? Is this okay for Christians? Is lifestyle evangelism acceptable? If someone isn’t gifted in speaking, can they witness with their lifestyle? The film Life’s Story claims that there is a protection mechanism in all DNA which makes evolution impossible; is this true? Was it about 3000 years between the time of Adam and the time of Jesus? Do we know what will prompt His second coming? Is it related to the evil of mankind?||9/22/2016||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanQ&A: Assurance of Salvation, Suicide, and Mental Illness||On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank answers the following questions: Was the Garden of Eden subjected to futility after the fall? I have doubts about my salvation and thoughts that I can’t control. How can I have assurance? Can you address generational curses and the idea that the sins of the fathers are passed on to their sons? My brother committed suicide and it has shaken my faith. Is it true that the apostle John was boiled in oil; is that in Scripture? What do you think of John Hagee and Jonathan Cahn? My father is bi-polar. Is mental illness always related to sin? If Isaiah 65:20 is referring to eternity, why does it speak of people dying at 100 years old? Someone gave me Ahmadiyya material, which claims that a Muslim man was the Messiah. Do you know anything about this?||9/20/2016||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanCrucified Again with Raymond Ibrahim, Part 3||On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank welcomes Raymond Ibrahim to the program once again for a final discussion on the importance of understanding the religion of Islam as delineated in his book Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians. Despite the clear evidence, it seems that the West has a blind spot or is perhaps apathetic towards the mass genocide that is taking place in the rest of the world. President Obama has been seen bowing before the Saudi king, yet what many do not realize is that the ideology of Saudi Arabia is the same as that of ISIS. Hank and Raymond also highlight the historical revisionism regarding the Crusades, Islam’s mistreatment of women, and the horrific events taking place in Boko Haram and around the globe.||9/20/2016||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanWhat’s Bad About The Good Place and Q&A||On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank addresses the flawed plotline of the new television show The Good Place airing on NBC. Because of some mix-up, the unscrupulous main character, Eleanor, ends up in the “good place” (heaven) instead of the “bad place” (hell). According to Michael (Ted Danson), all religions got about 5 percent of it right; they all have a little bit of truth. While this show is being billed as a religious program, it is based on a false premise. Christianity, on the other hand, is the only religion rooted in history and evidence. It is unique. Only Christianity corresponds to reality, and only Jesus claimed to be God and validated this claim by rising from the dead. Hank answers the following questions: 1 Corinthians 6:2-3 says believers will judge the world and angels; why will we be judging angels? Can you explain this? What is your opinion of Joel Osteen? When we die, are we immediately transported into the future judgment? What is your take on the Illuminati and its association with the all-seeing-eye? Can you explain this idea of the eyes of our heart being enlightened in Ephesians 1:18? Can a Christian choose to be cremated; does it matter? Do you believe that demons exist? If so, can they take on physical form and attack people?||9/18/2016||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanBest of BAM: Crucified Again with Raymond Ibrahim, Part 2||On today's Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank welcomes back Islamic expert, Raymond Ibrahim to continue discussing his book Crucified Again: Exposing Islam's New War on Christians. Hank starts by recounting his experience in Iran as a very cordial experience and asks Raymond what we should make of this contradiction between peaceful Muslims and what we see with jihadist groups. Hank and Raymond also discuss the Christian "Golden Age" and what happened in the sixties to change this mindset, the implications of the Battle of Vienna in 1683, and the truth about Saudi Arabia.Hank and Raymond answer the following questions:-Is it accurate to say that Muslim aggression has been constant historically, or does it come in waves depending on how strong western civilization is?-Can we view Muslim immigration as a Trojan horse?||9/16/2016||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanPoliticians Reflect the Culture and Q&A||On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank shares his thoughts on Hillary Clinton’s visit to North Carolina yesterday. Clinton made a big issue out of gender fluidity by leaving no room whatsoever for what the civilized world has always believed about gender. If you believe gender is determined by biology, you are considered a bigot. According to Clinton, we’re not even allowed to think about this anymore; it’s a settled issue. Likewise, Tim Kaine, at a recent Human Rights Campaign dinner, misconstrued the most basic message of Genesis chapter 1 and applied it to same-sex marriage. In this epic moment in human history, we must remember that politicians are reflections of the culture. Hank answers the following questions: Luke 17:34 says that two men will be in one bed and one will be taken and the other left. We don’t know who God will save so we shouldn’t judge. What do you think of Christians being slain in the Spirit or yelling during a worship service? In light of the values and lifestyle of Donald Trump, who should we vote for? I believe we are living in the end times, and according to a Bible I have that was published in 1922, the number 666 refers to ISIS. Is Rick Warren a false teacher? When Jesus said that Judas was a devil, how should I understand this?||9/15/2016||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanHow Could God Command Genocide? and Q&A||On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank addresses a question that is often asked by skeptics: how can Christians legitimize a God who orders the genocide of entire nations? God’s commands are always perfectly consistent with His justice and mercy. His command to destroy the nations in the land of Canaan shouldn’t be interpreted apart from its immediate context. The words “destroy them totally” are contextualized by Deuteronomy 7:2-4, which makes clear that the Canaanites would turn the sons of Israel away from following the Lord, to serve other gods. Further, God’s desire to spare the pagan city of Nineveh bears eloquent testimony to His mercy for those who repent. Hank answers the following questions: Could you clarify the story of Jephthah sacrificing his daughter? This seems ridiculous to me. How can I argue that the Bible and the Qur’an do not teach the same God? Can you address the Hebrew Roots Movement and their view that we must observe Old Testament laws? What are your thoughts on G12 Church and Caesar Castellanos? Is it true that if a divorced person remarries, they are committing perpetual adultery? Why don’t many mainline Protestant churches teach extensively on the book of Revelation? According to Romans 1:2-4, how can Jesus be the seed of David and yet born of a virgin? What is your opinion of Beth Moore associating with Joyce Meyer?||9/14/2016||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanQ&A: Unlearning False Teaching, Tongues, and Reconciliation||On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank shares some testimonies from listeners who have been blessed by his books and the ministry of the Christian Research Institute and the Bible Answer Man broadcast. Hank answers the following questions: As Christians were are to reflect Christ to others, but if people don’t have a desire to know Him, is it worth it to share with them? What are your thoughts on Mark Driscoll? I was raised both Mormon and Roman Catholic; how can I unlearn or weed out false teaching? Since there’s no sadness in heaven, how will we react to loved ones who aren’t there? What is your opinion of Todd White? Do you think speaking in tongues is Scriptural or Satanic? How can someone stop using profanity? I am overwhelmed with guilt about sins I’ve committed in the past; how can I forgive myself? I have some family members that I can’t seem to reconcile with; what will this situation look like in heaven? How should we perceive other world religions; are people all seeing the same thing, but interpreting it differently? What biblical view best suits the age of the human race? ||CleanQ&A: Eternal Family, Faith, and the Lord’s Supper||On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank answers the following questions: Do Christians believe in an eternal family like Mormons? What are your thoughts on Steven Furtick, the pastor of Elevation? I read an article in the Christian Research Journal about Jephthah’s daughter; was she condemned to a life of celibacy instead of being sacrificed? In the Bible, was there ever just one race of people? What is the dividing line between a true Christian and someone following a cult? What would you say about the seeker-friendly movement; have they changed the gospel? How will someone looking at creation in say, Congo, understand that he is a sinner and needs salvation through Jesus? How does one go about increasing their faith? Are peaceful Muslims equivalent to lukewarm Christians? When talking about the Lord’s Supper, can you explain what you mean by “energy”? Do you believe that the elements are the real body and blood of Christ?||9/12/2016||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanChristians Must Wake Up and Q&A||On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank shares his thoughts on another September 11th many years ago. On September 11, 1683 the Muslim menace was halted at the gates of Vienna by the King of Poland, Jan Sobieski. While we remember the devastation that took place fifteen years ago, no Jan Sobieski arrived on the scene. Instead, what we have today are self-loathing Western elites who are rushing to pay homage at Muslim mosques. A prime example is US attorney Loretta Lynch, who, following the San Bernardino attack, didn’t morn the deaths of innocent Americans but was more concerned that Muslims might be unjustly implicated. In the midst of this kind of leadership, it’s time for Christians to wake up. Hank answers the following questions:-Where does the Bible say that God is three persons?-I heard a TV preacher say the generation that saw Israel become a nation again would the final generation, but I can’t find this in Scripture?-How can we have an inerrant Bible if human writers have free will?-What is your view on full preterism? What about partial preterism?-Should a person show real remorse for there to be genuine repentance?-My daughter married a Muslim and converted to Islam; do you have any advice?-How should Christians respond to a government that abuses power?-What are your thoughts on the book Radical by David Platt?-I have been looking at the different Bible translations and I have found that there are verses missing from newer translations compared to the KJV. What are your thoughts on this?||9/11/2016||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanBest of BAM: Crucified Again with Raymond Ibrahim, Part 1||On today's Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank welcomes author, public speaker, and Islam specialist, Raymond Ibrahim to discuss his book Crucified Again: Exposing Islam's New War on Christians. Hank and Raymond talk about the difference between how Islam is portrayed in the media and its reality; the history of Islam spanning from the time of Muhammad until now; the myth of the Andalusian Paradise, and how Christians should think about President Obama's denigration of Christianity while at the same time using glowing rhetoric when it comes to Muhammad and Islam.||9/9/2016||Free||View in iTunes|
