I charged up my iPad to write this

I have been a fan of this podcast since day one. I don’t live anywhere near Portland, but this show is still fun to listen to, and I look forward to every episode.

That said, the podcast doesn’t focus exclusively on Portland. The discuss a range of topics that revolve around bikes, gaming...and something I can’t really recall...rods?

Some of my favorite episodes are the Character Jams, where they pick a tabletop RPG with an interesting character creation system, and roll up characters for the game. I recommend the HOL episode for a glimpse into that madness.

A delightful Portland podcast

I’m not saying this podcast is a deeply profound look into the human condition on par with Hemingway or Kerouac, but I’m not saying it isn’t? Interesting topics, very funny and enjoyable. I am a big fan of the old Portland bar talk, it feels a bit like time travel to hear about favorite old haunts that I forgot existed.
