Not what I expected

I first would like to start off by saying I was excited to find a Bears podcast that focused on the Bears but also talked about the other Chicago Sports. I’ve listened to 3 episodes and by the second episode I was regretting my decision. My first issue is the length of the podcast. 2 hours is a long time to talk about the same teams. You can only say so much but after listening, I see how these talks become 2-hour episodes (not a good thing). My second issue is the sound quality. You can constantly hear phones ringing in the background and static from the microphones. My third issue, In my opinion the most important, is the content. They reference Twitter as if they are stating facts. When they are trying to find accurate information, you have to hear the awkward silence while they conduct their research. And even then, the information isn’t correct. On one podcast, they stated that they hadn’t watched Thursday Football since the Bears didn’t play this season. When the NFL decided to do TNF for the season, it was stated that every team would get a Thursday night game. I just don’t understand how they didn’t know this. In fact, the Bears have played the Packers for the Thursday night game at least these past two seasons. How can you talk Bears and you don’t know the schedule? Anyway, I do like the guys because I agree with a lot of their views. My suggestion for improvement would be to prep before the podcast and research the information you want to talk about. That would probably help shorten the length, as well. Good luck to you guys!!!

Great podcast from a true Chicago sports fan.
