A history show of the amateur armchair persuasion whose interest is derived from the Napoleonic idea that history is a myth agreed upon. Ask Tacitus, the Roman Senator and Historian. In fact ask a policeman. BTHP will be taking a look at history primarily from a British perspective but not to the exclusion of other great historical stories.

Connecting the Dots

Tony has a nice presentation style and does a wonderful job of connecting the dots in past historical events that lead to where we are now.

Terrific, More Please

I love, love, this podcast. Very interesting and entertaining. Keep it up and bring us more. Love the accent, too.

Battle of Brittain

Latest episode is an improvement on what was already a very nice effort. I don't know of a podcast on a single military campaign that is as well done as this one- and he's only halfway through!
