No Holds Bar Discussions about Race and Culture in Media

This is a new podcast, but I can already tell that I am going to enjoy it. Host Amber P. Knight explores the portrayal of race and culture in modern media. As a self-identified Black, American woman of Caribbean descent, Amber offers a unique viewpoint on how Hollywood portrays not just black women, but people of color, white women, and I am sure white men too.

Race and culture are touchy subjects because they feel so personal. I am sure at times I will disagree with Amber, but I think that’s okay. We can’t agree with everyone and exploring these issues will help everyone question and think about what it means to be human in our multicolored and multi-racial world.
