Description

Every other week, Chris, Collin, Cindy, and Philip talk about all kinds of tabletop gaming: Board games, card games and even RPGs. They review one game in particular and talk about what they like/dislike about the game, and also take questions circulating around the gaming community and give their own answers to the questions.

Customer Reviews

Great, fun gaming podcast!

If you're looking for a fun gaming podcast that is conversational, friendly, and doesn't get bogged down gaming technicalities, this is the one for you! Covers role-playing, Magic, board games, and other aspects of the gaming life!

Really Good Tabletop Addict Podcast

Boards & Swords is a relatively new podcast that focuses on tabletop and roleplaying games. Not only does it feature news recaps from a consumer POV but also includes basic introduction to a different game each episode.

Tough Listen

I listened to Boards and Swords #34. I came into this genuinely interested in the subject matter, I chose this episode because I wanted more info on "Superfight!" but I also am a big fan of Betrayal. The speaker (Chris, I'm assuming) doesn't really have a tone that inspires confidence in his knowledge of the subject matter, he is very halting and seems pretty directionless. I only listened to one episode, so this is not the most in-depth review, but despite my genuine interest and curiosity in the topic of the episode that I chose, I ended up not being able to enjoy this show.
