A Great New Addition
I found this podcast when looking for another podcast about positive psychology. I have listened to the Dr. Burns and Kyle Maynard episodes. They were great. I really enjoyed Dr. Burns's take on reframing the cognitive distortions and as a licensed clinical social worker I could use this technique with my clients. I love learning new therapeutic skills.
Thank you, Larry. I'm looking forward to listening to more episodes.
Bounce will ELEVATE your mind and spirit!
Let me start with a confession: I'm a podcast junkie. I subscribe to several regular shows on a variety of topics from politics to physics to physical fitness. I love the podcast format – and I love exploring what this deep range of content contributers has to offer.
But in a sea of sameness, there are just a handful of programs that have the potential to truly move you, and BOUNCE is one of them. I mean... WOW. Larry Weeks has developed a rare gem in an otherwise lackluster realm of blasé rhetoric, and brings a fresh approach to the genre. His platform is relatable, inspirational, and never predictable. His interview style and technique is masterful, bringing a whit and charm to his repoire that few podcast hosts are able to achieve. Larry is also an adept translator of both mental and spiritual topology; he frequently crystallizes and projects the essence of the lessons from his conversations, giving us greater clarity and insight from his guests. You walk away armed with greater knowledge, more skills and a genuinely renewed faith in the human condition. It's just awesome from end to end.
One other parting note: I'm a bit of an entitled technophile, and I seek out podcasts that embrace and reflect the highest quality possible (I mean, who wants to listen to a cassette recording made in someone's bathroom?) BOUNCE brings the audio medium its due respect, and delivers a splendid listening experience that is well balanced and sounds absolutely professional. I can't give every podcast a five-star rating... but I have to with this one.
