Here is what you do with a receipt ... for anything. You save them and when you get your credit card bill, you pull out all your receipts and cross off your purchases. Who knows how many times you have paid more? Dr. Galvin your parents could teach you something ... and my wife ... but stay away from her. Have your parents teach you.
I am taking a stand against cell phones in school. Why we expect students to handle one earbud and be respectful with that technology is beyond me. From using the phone to cheat, to indecent pictures, or just pictures not sanctioned by the student or teacher, to pictures taken of homework, to video game playing; this generation has a severe case of phoneitis and it is terminal to their GPA. We need to wake up if we want our students to do the best they can to prepare for their future. The studies are coming out now about cell phones and GPA's and it is not pretty. Hiding behind the guise of using the technology in the classroom is a joke. How serious are we about the students we teach?
