Sitting here watching the first annual live show of the Third Rail podcast, and reflecting on how awesome it is to get a new wave of important voices in central Brooklyn. Killer sound, and vital takes. I'm mad because I didn't get on the show till episode 15, but that's cool...
<3 third rail!
Essential listening for those in central Brooklyn and beyond. Spot on topics, analysis, guests, and discussion. An amazing model for hyper local journalism and stories.
Get your radical social justicegasms!
I love this podcast! These folks always offer thoughtful and nuanced critical analyses on a variety of issues. They’re guests are always interesting and funny and the format really works. What I love is that even though it its a Central Brooklyn focused organization, they way they dissect issues offers relevance and insight on race, gender and movement work that go far beyond Brooklyn. I’m also a big fan of the hosts! I love how they’re able to speak about these difficult issues in accessible and practical ways. It’s easy to feel like you’re in a living room building and plotting the revolution with your besties. I live in a place where there is no movement work to speak of so I look forward every month to getting my social justice fix from Third Rail! Keep up the good work ya’ll!
