Description

Brother Brother Brother is what happens when three brothers born in three different decades come together over a shared obsession with music. It's an in-depth conversation between Wyndham Lewis, Jeremy Sartori, and Christian Lewis, born in the late 60's, 70's, and 80's, that's been a lifetime in the making. Reporting in from LA, Boston, and Brooklyn, the Brothers now open the conversation to you, and in the process likely prove Craig Finn's assertion that "everyone's a critic and most people are DJs." Customer Reviews

This Podcast is right up my alley!

Love this podcast! I was in a tiotal musical rut and looking for some new ideas when I heard about this podcast on NPR. I have so much in common with you guys...I have 3 older brothers back in Memphis who introduced me to a wide array of great music very early. I'm pretty much a carbon copy of Wyndham with some Jeremy thrown in music influence-wise. Thanks for introducing me to bands like: Yo La Tengo, LCD Soundsystem, Sleater-Kinny & getting me to listen to some new (to me) music! Keep it coming!

Rating for younger brother

Tried the New Wave / Post-Punk episode and turned off after the younger brother described new wave as bands with a “really annoying synth from the 1980’s”. The older brother does sound music-intelligent but I’m not gonna waste hours of my life listening to somebody talk about music who has that opinion of new wave and 1980s music.

The maestres of music

Imagine every music conversation you'd like to have again -- these three brothers are tackling those and other meaty music topics with this smart and down-to-earth podcast which is more about substance and content than shine and sizzle. I also love the accompanying music lists to get you engaged with the music. Keep it up brothers!
