Calvary Chapel Fellowship of Foley Podcast Unknown

Christ blessed the growing rural part of Foley AL a few years ago with Pastor Joe and his wife. Together, they've brought countless souls to Christ. The church is 'laid back', set in the middle between county farmland and conservative roots on the north end and fast tracked heavy tourism growth of 'new day' vacation entertainment and beach condos on the south end. I love Pastor Joe's motto that they don't keep a directory of members because the church is fluently engaging vacationers as well as 'home folk' that pass thru...some pass thru the doors while away from home and others pass thru the doors each time they are opened. 'We are the family of God...we want you to feel welcome, not obligated.' If you visit just once you are hooked...not by his excellent 'spot-on' preaching...not by the magnificent songs worshipping Our Lord...not even by the sincerity of those who hug you or shake your hand to greet you...these are merely icing on the cake as you are touched deeply by the movement of the Holy Spirit while you worship there. The presence of God among those who worship there is so strong that I do believe you'd have to be heartless if you weren't indeed touched during the service. I praise God for bringing me to that small storefront church on Hwy 59 4 yrs ago. My husband passed on to Heaven a few months prior to my first visit there and I know God directed me because I had become so numb in my grief that I didn't allow myself to live my life outside of my house. Pastor Joe and Calvary Chapel brought light back into my life and I will forever be grateful. My husband and PJ would have been great friends...they both have so much in common along with their persona devotion to Christ. Visit Calvary..you'll be glad you did. ✝️
