One of the privileges of being a pastoral family is that we get to be part of the lives of so many different people. We get to be there for the good and bad, the happy, the sad, the struggles, and achievements. We get to hold newborns, celebrate weddings, pray for the sick, and comfort the grieving. In this process of sharing in the lives of so many, we also get to hear and be part of their stories. Stories of love and fear. Stories of hope and cheer. Stories of struggles, patience, and faith. Some of these stories are just too incredible to keep to ourselves. For a while, my husband and I had been brainstorming ways to keep these stories alive and share them with others. That is when the idea for this podcast came to be. All of the stories you will hear here are true accounts from people we have had contact with. They are stories that have touched our hearts and sometimes shook us to our core. We hope that you will also be touched and inspired by what you hear. We also hope to encourage you to keep your ears open to the stories that are happening all around you. Blessings, The Seiferts P.S. All of the stories shared in this podcast are shared with permission.
||CleanWelcome Home Sandra- Podcast 01||I came home from a pastor’s wives retreat a couple of months ago and my husband had this amazing story to share. The more I listened, the more awestruck I became. I knew at once this was the perfect story for the first episode of our podcast.||5/4/2016||Free||View in iTunes|
This podcast was created by a pastor and his wife. They do a wonderful job narrating true, inspirational stories. Background music is also used to help take you on the journey. That's what it feels like...you're being taken on a journey. You will become engulfed in the stories wanting to cry and laugh and hold your breath in anticipation of what will happen next.
These stories are narrated not only by the makers of this podcast but also by the true characters themselves.
What I love most about this podcast is that these are true, inspirational stories. They help me see how God is still in control. How others are struggling or have struggled through worse things than I have and God saw them through. God truly is all powerful, all knowing, all present, and loves us so much.
Thank you for inspiring me to keep going in my own journey knowing God is not finished with me yet.
Keep up the great work.
