Haunting and inspiring
What is stronger than a mother’s love? While this series initially focuses on the football star and his fall from grace, the sordid characters and their bad choices, the women of this story and Chancellor Lee are the heroes. Bravo to Scott Fowler and The Charlotte Observer for their determined, detailed and nuanced coverage of this tragedy for the past two decades. And here’s to Saundra Adams, the selfless, loving, uplifting and inspiring hero of this story. Be prepared for your heart to be broken open and healed.
Can’t express how much I was touched by this podcast. Saundra Adams and her grandson are an inspiration. Scott Fowler has done a fantastic job in assembling and crafting this sad tale. Athletes seem to feel they have no limits on their behavior. Chancellor Lee is a very important reminder of the damage caused by those who feel no human feelings for their offspring or those they purport to love.
Amazing piece of work
I throughly enjoy this podcast series! Very tough listen, very emotional but well done! God be with that family! Kudos to Scott
