We cover our family’s journey from suburbia to the American Redoubt, the politics of why we are moving, homesteading and more self-reliant living. I believe one way to rediscover the Libertarian Christian roots of this republic is to look at moving to “deep red” states, or areas that are very conservative, such as the American Redoubt.

I can relate to the host

As I listen to Alex (the host) talk about his Catholic faith, his desire to make his family more self-sufficient, and to move them into more conservative environments, I can fully relate to his views and motivations. And like him, I too have been following the American Redoubt and the Catholic Land Movement. I'm so pleased that there's a podcast that touches on all of these points along with the love for personal freedom and justice.

I've listened to all of his shows available to date. I've learned a lot with regards to property and well-drilling. I haven't had a chance to read all of his website articles yet. For what I've seen, I've enjoyed. My only real criticism of the podcast is that I have difficulty hearing the host speak clearly over the intro and exit music... it's a "busy" song (with lyrics) that makes it difficult to distinguish his words.

I look forward to more podcasts.

Well Done

I look forward to the show.

It is a well done podcast examining many facets of preparedness through the eyes of traditional Catholicism.

The show chronicals the authors physical, spiritual and educational journey to the inland Pacific Northwest.

A must listen!

This is a must listen to any traditional Catholic or anyone who embraces freedom. My wife and I throughly enjoy the show. I cannot wait for my move to Idaho! Great Podcast and blog!
