    Episode 10 – Summer Camp

    Episode 10 – Summer Camp

We’re visiting summer camp, where we’ll write letters to home about spooky stories of cursed and haunted campgrounds (or at least one retreat in Utah with a scary reputation in both story and fact). We’ll also go on a snipe hunt for strange critters, called cryptids, and find out why these creatures fascinate us so much.

    Episode 9 – Witches All

    Episode 9 – Witches All

Is a “witch” a creature of fantasy flying through the midnight skies on a broomstick? A powerful woman stirring a little pot of potions (and maybe a bigger pot of political change)? Is a “witch” someone (or something) magical, something scary, something wonderful, or something else entirely?

SHOWNOTES Summary This time around, we return from a long absence with whispers and hearsay. We speak to two experts on the power of rumor in a variety of real-world situations. Move over Lore!

Cory's presentation of folklore and history puts similarly themed shows to shame. He has the unique feature of actually interviewing experts, which adds a new level of personal attachment to topics that other shows can't quite touch. Plus, the host has a gripping way of engaging the audience, and his voice should be the envy of all podcasters everywhere. Chasing Foxfire is destined for majorly huge things, and I'm glad I'm on board for the ride.

Great start!

I have always enjoyed your NWW podcast, and this first episode is such a great start! I really enjoyed how you worked in the audio of the story tellers, it really had a "fire side" feel. Please make more!!
