Thanks for your work, Simon! Keep it up!
the first time ....
The first time I heard this podcast was as a radio broadcast on a local station .... Great show ! I even had a some questions about the play list and artists. Simon actually eMailed me back with answeres !
So I keep listening and I like what I hear - lots of new artists that just don't get played on local stations.... this is stuff you just can't find anywhere else.
I'm a lover of all kinds of music and apparently so is Simon Rentner. I always look forward to the Checkout because it highlights a wide range of artists new and old. His interviews with artists are always engaging and enjoyable. Chances are whenever I purchase a new Jazz record, that artist will eventually appear on this show. In addition there's always the chance I'll hear something I haven't heard before that's truly dope! Essential listening indeed!
