Description

Chemistry Demonstration Series, presented by John J. Fortman, Ph.D. and Rubin Battino, Ph.D. The following selection of Chemistry demonstration videos are from live outreach shows at Wright State University. Professors Fortman and Battino currently do 19 shows per year for over 8,000 high school and junior high students bused to our campus, Wright State University. This is possibly the largest continuing chemistry demonstration program in the country and perhaps the world. Professor Fortman also does solo demonstration programs for the general public at the Miami Valley Tech Fest held each February at Sinclair Community College. Still other clips of Dr. Fortman are from his tour talks given for local sections of the American Chemical Society throughout the country. Since 1991 Dr. Fortman has done 72 tours, giving 343 demo presentations in 250 different cities in all 50 states plus Puerto Rico and Canada. The rest of the clips were selected from three groupings of television studio productions in the 90's for teachers around the country and the world.
