A truly great podcast for fans of all things Japan

Chic Pixel Plus’ host, Anne Lee, delivers a great podcast covering various cultural topics about Japan. Fans and people interested in learning about the more unique aspects of Japanese culture should give this podcast a listen. There is never a dull topic and Anne, together with her various guests, will always have you walking away learning something new and interesting that may just become your next great hobby.

Fun show about all things Japan and nerdy

Always a great listen on topics from Anime, Manga, Japanese Games old and new. If you have a slight interest in any of these topics, this show is for you.

One of My Favorite Podcasts

I only discovered Chic Pixel Plus a couple of weeks ago, but it’s quickly become one of my favorite podcasts. While there are other podcasts that cover Japanese gaming, anime, culture, candy, etc from a western viewpoint, Chic Pixel presents it all in a much more interested and loving way without making anyone in its audience feel alienated. It gets as nerdy and niche as it can without ever being condescending or boring, and it’s not afraid to touch on the less covered or just plain weirder topics, while doing without either over-criticizing or pandering. The topics are great, the guests are great, and the host is great!
