Description

Every week we record a podcast about the movies we love, the movies we hate, and the movies in between. The movies discussed are based on nothing more than our current level of interest at the time of recording. From time to time, discussions of seminal works from the past will take precedence over new releases. Each episode is a discussion and not a typical review. Subscribe and tune in every week if you think that sounds interesting.

Customer Reviews

These guys know the difference between good movies and bad.

Great podcast for cinephiles like me.
The hosts definitely know what they're talking about.
It's nice to listen to the two hosts' different viewpoints and opinions.
Richard & Safi can be likened to Siskel & Ebert of the podcast world.

I also like how the podcast isn't too long.
In 20 to 30 minutes, it's the perfect length to listen to.

Definitely check out this podcast if your into movies.

This podcast NEEDS to be heard.

An ode to true critical review and knowledge of "good" films.

Cinephile spoilers gives very entertaining yet detailed reviews upon first listen. The pair that run this podcast (Richard and Safi) think more towards a critic's viewpoint rather than an average moviegoer; still giving a rather unbiased opinion on a film that deserves credit (or not). Nevertheless, they both discuss the ups and downs during the podcast ranging from directing, cinematography, acting, visual effects, etc. The details all come up to form a solid opinion that reviews the film as a whole and adding a recommendation to the listener if the movie is worth watching.

A perfect podcast for cinephiles waiting to see if that movie that just came out is worth the ticket. Typical moviegoers might shy away from their unquestionable critique, but once the reasoning starts to sink in, they learn avoid Michael Bay, Jason Friedberg, and Aaron Seltzer productions.

Like Going Home

Once you commit yourself to getting to know these guys, every week it's like spending an hour with your friends talking about movies. As industry outsiders, Richard and Safi are passionate movie critics who are not afraid to call out bad movies for what they are. Their idiosyncrasies produce a unique vibe, somewhere between a Tarantino diner scene and a Kevin Smith sidewalk rant.
