Promoting skepticism, critical thinking and science, we examine popular extraordinary claims and subject them to critical analysis. The real world is a beautiful and fascinating place and we want people to see it through the lens of reality as opposed to superstition.

Free (but not necessarily Critical) Thinkers

This radio show/podcast contains some genuinely sparkling ideas, but unfortunately they are sandwiched between dull, speculative rants that lack evidence or critical merit.

Most recently, in spite of scant-to-non-existent evidence, one host enthusiastically bought into the suggestion that Toronto Police were themselves fomenting violence during the G-20 meeting there, all to help justify the expense for security during the conference. This kind of conspiratorial fear-mongering is unworthy of the name "freethinker." When there are so many better examples of well-researched and self-restrained freethought podcasts, this one doesn't deserve to supplant them in your listening schedule.
