Love this show!
I just discovered this show and it’s been the show I’ve been looking for!! It is so factual, modern, not left or right, blue or red. Plain facts. I love learning about what helped form and shape our country into what it is, and all the little details that got us here. The little details no one really thinks about. Keep up the great work and make the episodes longer!

If you are looking for a podcast about American civics, keep looking. Civics is the study of government structure, constitutional underpinnings and legal systems. Knowledge of the powers government has and those it doesn’t, is essential to American citizenship. So is knowing when your rights are being violated. This pod thinks civics is social studies/history. It lumbers through even those topics in a boring, condescending way. The two episodes I listened to interviewed the same person twice and half of it was an exact repeat of material covered in the first. I’m deeply disappointed, because a real pod about civics is sorely needed.
Everything civics.....
I'm an 85 year old woman who thought I knew my way around our country's constitution. WRONG !!! I can't tell you how appreciative I am of your program. I've been generally conservative but not nutty about it...have usually found myself voting for moral laws and personal integrity of candidates. However, after Jan. 6, all cards were on the table and after living through WW2 (Dad fought in WW1, brothers in WW2) I knew a fascist wannabe when I saw it. I just needed to dive deeper into the Constitution.
Thank you for that. Your programs are concise, intelligent and short enough to hold my old brain's interest.
Keep it up, you wonderful young people. I've passed on your podcast info to my grandchildren. Embarrassingly, my kidlets usually say,"Grandma Sue, we know that stuff". I really hope so.....
