This is awesome! Teachers need more of these! 😁
I love the mini episodes about specific topics!
Kudos from a Fellow PA Teacher
Love hearing the planning process you and Kim have. I think I will borrow the aspect of the robot project that includes quadrilaterals and coordinate planes. I also loved Kim’s suggestion on allowing students to classify and explore the relationships between the polygons to create a hierarchy. Thank you for the great ideas. That will be my activator for the unit this coming year! I teach fifth grade at a neighboring district. This is my fifteenth year and I am also the new fifth grade level coordinator. I have my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. If you are ever interested in a cross district discussion, I would be very interested in participating.
