Fine, kind of stereotypical
Listened to the first episode. I like this genre of civilization in decline. The acting isn't very convincing, but the production was reasonably good. However, it sounds like 1950's and 60's sci fi - all male except for a woman saying "what about me and my baby?" Moving on.
Refreshingly Excellent
I thought I was complete bored with post-apocalypse stories, but this one is so dynamic and well-done that it drew me in immediately.
The Cleansed is Awesome!
I came across this series in the middle of the night during a marathon run from start to current, on a streaming channel unrelated to finalrune. I was hooked, and still am! It is so epic. Three seasons! I love audio theater and this is a refreshing modern take on it. The plot is relatable, great character development and tons of action, rich sound and always some kind of cliff-hanger. You might want to catch the first couple episodes at least, to find out who the players are. Past episodes do bear repeating! New episodes go up first Friday of each month, and the story concludes this July (2016). At this point I an champing at the bit each month for the next episode, bugging the producer for an update, ha ha. Give it a shot, you will likely get hooked, too!
