A podcast of awesomeness

The Butterscotch brothers are three awesome brothers making awesomelly funny, quirky, and totally indy games, and this is their weekly podcast filled with laughs and sweet updates on the studio! Keep up the awesomeness!

The ups and downs of game development - with a comedic twist!

It’s hard not to love the three brother team that makes up Butterscotch Shenanigans - having made a handful of games without breaking even financially, as well as overcoming two rounds of cancer, they ‘re pretty much textbook examples of the struggling artist. But despite the somewhat somber backdrop, on the podcast they never take themselves too seriously, and have the hilarity turned to 11 more often than not. Most episodes cover the latest going ons in the development of Crashlands (their biggest game yet!), touch on what they’ve been playing, and close with questions (ranging from ridiculous to somewhat more serious) from the community

If you love hearing how the sausage that is indie games gets made - and laughing while doing so - this podcast is definitely worth a listen!

Great show guys!!

Wow, what a gem of a podcast this turned out to be. Heard the folks on TouchArcade raving about this new game called Crashlands and casually mentioned the developers had a podcast that could be interesting to hear the background on game development. But this turned out to be so much more. These 3 brothers are hilarious and touching at same time dealing with issues of personal health and the trials and tribulations in developing games in this current marketplace. Great sense of humor from these guys, right up there with Jeff Garlin and Norm MacDonald’s podcasts in my opinion. Laugh out loud funny. I wish the best for the Coster brothers in their future in both game development and podcasting! I’m catching up on all the back episodes of the show and can’t wait for my commute so I can hear more. Once I’m caught up I’m buying their game too. Can’t wait to see what I have been hearing about throughout this journey. Based on all the reviews, sounds like a fantastic game.
