Based on the iconic, Emmy-nominated series on A&E, "Cold Case Files" explores some of the most difficult-to-solve murders, which stymied investigators and went cold, sometimes for decades. In fact, one-third of all murders in America remain open. But thanks to dogged investigators and breakthroughs in forensic technology, these cases become part of the rare 1% of cold cases that are ever solved. Hosted by Brooke Gittings ("Convicted" and "Actual Innocence") and featuring the voice of original Cold Case Files host, Bill Kurtis.

Customer Reviews

Brooke, please stop!

Was excited to listen to this until I realized it was the annoying woman from the awful podcast Convicted. Brooke, seriously, work on your diction. You are unbearable to listen to.

Disappointing and not worth the listen

If you're a fan of crime podcasts you might cringe listening to Brooke talk. She sounds like a child telling a story. Poor enunciation and diction. I know she doesn't have training but speaking clearly and knowing when to emphasize doesn't need a lot of training. It's like a high schooler reading Shakespeare. Adding the dramatic pauses where it just doesn't need to be. In a growing world of crime podcasts this one reads as amateur.

Great topics but needs a new narrator

Am actually interested in the stories but cannot stand the narration.
