Description

Coram Deo is a podcast hosted by Kyle J. Howard. The aim of this podcast is to discuss how theology affects every area of life. Coram Deo was the battle cry of the Reformation. The reformers believed that there was no distinction between "secular & sacred". They believed that every facet of life was to be lived as if the saint was in the presence of God. Coram Deo is a Latin phrase that literally means, "In The Presence of God". Join me as I discuss how Reformed Theology impacts every aspect of our Christian life.

Kyle’s Podcast: A Gift for Growing Saints

Contrary to plarsenviking1‘s harsh one star review here about Kyle’s “sin by proxy” per Harrison’s podcast, Kyle does not undercut penal substitution, nor justification by faith alone. I can’t imagine his remarks are fueled by Christ-like love. Kyle is a firm believer in the Lord, clothed in the righteousness of Christ: you would do well plarsenviking1 to lovingly engage with Kyle in light of that truth, rather than viewing him as a “Grievance professional.”

Kyle is a learned brother in the Lord. His podcast articulates truth clearly and practically, from the lens of a historian, counselor, and pastor. From topics like repentance and depression, to eschatology and social issues, Kyle’s insights are gospel sound and relevant for all believers in their walk of faith.

I am thankful for you Kyle and the different ministries that the Lord has called you in serving the western church. As there are different members of the body, so too is your function precious and valuable. My prayer for you is that you will not grow weary in doing good, nor be discouraged in your ministry. You do not see all the fruit that your podcast and ministries generate in the lives of saints. I am confident that God will complete the good work he began in you at the day of Jesus Christ.

Grievance Professional

If you had told me two years ago, that Kyle would become one of these, I would never have believed it. I refer him to the Just Thinking (Darrell Harrison) podcast and blog for the biblical perpective on race, reparations, 'privilege', etc. The sin by proxy that Kyle wants to foist on folks he deems 'indifferent' to his trauma - and who he doesn't even know - is ridiculous - and I refuse to accept it. What a denial of the sufficiency of Christ's sacrifice - and Kyle's own indifference to (and perversion of) that sacrifice. What a shame. So unbelievably devisive.

Spot on

Kyle is insightful and wise as he talks about pertinent topics of today from a Biblical Perspective. When you feel beat up by the Church's ignorance it's refreshing to hear a brother in Christ speak truth and healing. Thank you.
