Imagine being wrongfully convicted for a crime you didn’t commit, or imagine your child's killer is still on the loose even though there’s enough evidence for an arrest. I want to help shine light on the injustices of our judicial system. I delve into court documents, attend trials, and interview those close to the case to help me tell their stories.

Awesome podcast!

Just got done listening to the first episode and I’m already excited for the second one! This is a great supplement to the Serial podcast that kind of took a turn that didn’t interest me in the 2nd season. Definitely recommending this to my friends that loved Serial.

Excellent journalism

Ok, granted I may be a bit biased, but that doesn't make me wrong: CourtJunkie is very well done. Creator Jillian LeCompte has done her research and has crafted a tale that makes one wonder just what the hell is going on with the Lake County, IL justice system. This podcast keeps you listening with intrigue-inducing use of court tapes and confessions, timely introduction of facts and characters, and an overall well-presented story of a conviction-maybe-gone-wrong. Check it out and subscribe to hear her upcoming updates to these cases, too!

Gets ya hooked on court cases

This is way cooler than the hour long tv shows with a million commercials and don't really tell you anything.
I enjoyed the real interviews along with the commentary filling in the bits and pieces.
I wasn't following this story before but now am curious. Will definitely be looking for more on this case as well as future podcasts on others.
This is going to turn me into a court junkie, I just know it.
