Have you ever told a lie, stolen anything, or used God's name in vain? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you looked with lust? Will you be guilty on Judgment Day? If you have done those things God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart. The Bible warns that if you are guilty you will end up in Hell. That's not God's will. He sent His Son to suffer and die on the cross for you. Jesus took your punishment upon Himself -"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Then He rose from the dead and defeated death. Please, repent (turn from sin) today and trust in Jesus, and God will grant you everlasting life. Then read your Bible daily and obey it. Blinded by dogma
It is good that the host is attempting to embrace new media for the purpose of expression. However, it is sad that the host is merely parroting (poorly I might add,) arguments which are intellectually dishonest as well as shallow. To illustrate: your argument (taken from Ray Comfort apparently) that there is no such thing as an atheist is false. You said that one would need infinite knowledge to make the emphatic claim that "there is no god." The position "there is no god" (which indeed some atheists do take,) is the strong atheist position. There is a weak atheist position; "I do not believe in god(s)." Is there a reason you don't address that position? As was pointed out by the author Sam Harris (and I paraphrase here,) you already KNOW what it's like to be an atheist with respect to other religions. You "know" that muslims are wrong, you "know" that hindis are wrong. They feel the same about your christian god and many people feel the same about ALL gods. Please avail yourself of some other books written by actual nonbelievers before making such ridiculous straw man arguments against non-christian points of view.
The information is incorrect. The host is a bumbling idiot who isn't thinking for himself but only reading poorly framed arguments against evolution.
Couldn't listen to it
Tried to listen to the show but the constant pauses and rambling made me turn it off. Let me say however I admire someone who takes action and attempts something like this. It's easy to be a critic but hard to create. The gentleman doing the podcast should try having all the material he plans on going over in front on him and maybe reherse it once or twice (since the shows are all around 15 minutes this shouldn't be too hard. This could help greatly. Also he might want to tone down the offhand bashing of evolution by calling it stupid and so forth. Just present your arguments respectfully and let your audience decide if they are persuasive. Finally, I listen to Creation Update and ID the future and usually resent reviewers saying that these podcasts belong in the Religion section and not the Science section but for this show it might be a good idea. I say that because the show is much more biased than the others I mentioned and doesn't really bring anything new forward it just regurgitates things found on the web (and badly at that). Sorry to be harsh. Here's hoping this podcast improves in the future.
