For The Film Nerd In You

The CriterionCast reviews films from The Criterion Collection, sure. They also discuss music, television, and, apparently, Joss Whedon on a weekly basis. This podcast is for people who do not shy away from subtitles, but can still enjoy a good viewing of Battlefield Earth. Follow their discussions and you will find yourself watching more quality films AND nurturing your inner Steven Seagal.

Great show!

A talkative and engaging podcast revolving around films from the Criterion Collection... what a concept! I don't always agree with the hosts... they are occassionally diverted into mainstream film conversations... but on the whole, this is a podcast well worth your time. Highly recommended!!

The Best Little Podcast on iTunes

These guys never run out of stuff to talk about. All three are armed with (seemingly) endless knowledge of film esotera, and although each episode centers around a particular Criterion release, their conversations inevitably branch off into innumerable different films, tackling an insane amount of information in the course of an hour. You won't be bored by this one, and although they're all self-acclaimed Criterionites, they're not above discussions of the Steven Segal filmography or the Ninja Turtles trilogy. Check this one out; it's worth your time.
