Must Listen!

I wish I had found this podcast back in October when I commited to a lifestyle change! Excellent information, presentation and encouragement! I also appreciate that the sound quality is consistent and that the recording volume is loud enough that I can hear it in the car, plane, etc. With all the podcasts out there, this is the one that will become a "must listen".

FANTASTIC!!!

Definitely a podcast worth subscribing to! The information is realistic, beneficial and I LOVE how the hosts are not only well educated on the subject of fat/weight loss but encourage listeners to not just take their word for it but to find what works for them by becoming your own expert. I listen to this while I'm on the treadmil, mowing the yard and cleaning house! Thanks Dr.Ray and Blythe!!!

Better than the few others I've heard, but could be better.

The topics Ray and Blythe cover are certainly timely and popular, but as I've listened to it more, I find myself wanting to hear more from Blythe. They're both knowledgeable, but Blythe offers more concrete advice. Ray tends to discuss things more broadly which stops the podcast from being as helpful as it could be. There was one 23-minute podcast where it was just Ray and I turned it off halfway through because he never got to the point. This last episode I listened to, which discussed essentially the Atkins' Diet, the same thing was about to happen. Ray was getting a bit analogy-heavy and Blythe asked him to offer some concrete advice (i.e. what can people do to "open the doors" for fat to get out if simply lowering carb intake wouldn't work). His response was, "That's what this whole podcast is about." Meaning the whole podcast series. Then Blythe offered, "Drink water. That will help you lose fat." I need to hear more like that. He did offer interval training as another suggestion, but I don't know if he would have without Blythe's first offering. It's good of Ray to share things like, "People are wired to want to eat everything in sight," but that really needs to be followed with concrete advice and definitely within the same podcast.
