This is Dating Ourselves. The show where we talk everything 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. For the most part, we will be selecting topics based on listener submissions, and talking about them. We all grew up in the same Midwestern town, and we’ve always had a passion for the things from our childhood. All the old movies, toys, board games ,and video games you had to blow into the cartridge to play. Since then we’ve all moved away from that Midwestern town (some not as far as we would like), but we still wanted to continue these discussions. The premise is fairly straight forward, listeners will submit topics and at the end of each weekly episode, in a somewhat wacky game show fashion, we will unveil what the topics will be for next time. We are loosely sticking between the years of 1980 and 2005, but we might fluctuate a bit if a topic is too good to pass on by. Keep in mind listeners, if there’s something you’d like to hear us talk about, let us know!

I’m excited to hear more episodes! Keep ‘me coming!
What a great idea. As a 90's kid, I don't know a single fellow Millennial who doesn't love to reminisce about the movies, toys, foods, commercials, books, and music we used to enjoy growing up! This is where Dating Ourselves comes in. Brian, Paul, and Adam have been friends since they were in the single digits and you can tell when you listen to them. They have a fantastic rapport and it's clearly evident when you listen to them talk and joke around. I'm so excited about this podcast and can't wait to hear more!!
This show is all that and a bag of chips.
--DISCLAIMER-- Side effects of listening to DATING OURSELVES podcast include, but are not limited to: Unstoppable fits of laughter, endless nostalgic YouTube binges, inexplicable attraction to the hosts' sultry voices, cravings for food/drink that cannot be eaten without taking an antacid first anymore, and/or post traumatic flashbacks to that awkward thing you did in middle school (you know what you did, don't pretend you don't). If your walks down memory lane last more than 4 hours, contact a friend, share the nostalgia.
