BONUS: The Stakes of Immigration with Aaron Reichlin-Melnick

As a bonus for listeners, we’re sharing the first episode of a special series from “Why Is This Happening? The Chris Hayes Podcast,” called “WITHpod 2024: The Stakes.” For the first time since 1892, we have an election in which both candidates have presidential records. It’s a unique chance to take a hard look at what both Joe Biden and Donald Trump have actually done as president. Chris Hayes talks to experts about both candidates’ records on specific policy areas. This week, Aaron Reichlin-Melnick, policy director at the American Immigration Council, joins to unpack immigration policies under Trump vs. Biden, the state of the asylum system, and more. Follow and listen to the whole series: https://link.chtbl.com/withpod_tsfd

Always great reporting Hostages?

Seems so wrong how republicans identify January 6 insurrectionists with patriots like the 1776 revolutionists who were fighting against a king and monarchy. It is the democrats who are against a king like autocracy like trump wants to be. Don’t people see that? These insurrectionists are not patriots they are exactly the opposite

when i heard idiot tommy cotton’s remark saying people need to get out of their car and physically move protestors aka vigilantism. that immediately brought to mind those 2 fat white people standing outside their house brandishing their weapons as blm protests walked by. republicans need to move south, stay south and yes, i vote to split the union. i am sick and tired of these republicans that seriously need to take time outs before they speak and do anything. they are not going to change esp when stupid idiots like cotton suggest, protestors blocking roads should be taken care of by other citizens. that also makes me think of that little punk-arss got away with murder, rittenhouse who by the way was supported by that judge who should have been sued!! sick of them!!

Trump’s psychosis has infected minds

One thing that needs a lot more attention in media reporting is the psychological damage of Trump’s psychosis on a large amount people in our society. Please bring in Psychiatrists like Dr.Brandi X Lee to help people understand how to deal with the impact of mass social psychosis. It is massive and dangerous. This is how Hitler came to power fueled by drugs and madness.
