Love this Podcast!

This is a fabulous podcast. I found Em, Steve and Paul through their great Vikings podcast. They have a wonderful way of summarizing the episodes, great background research, and a light (but thoughtful) way of communicating to the audience. I always learn something new (in addition to the recaps) from each episode. Loved their reporting on Vikings SO much that I started watching Penny Dreadful just to hear another one of their podcasts. I hope you guys do more podcasts for additional shows! Plus these three hosts are especially grateful to their listeners and it comes through during each podcast. Keep up the good work and thanks again!

Soundtrack to your nightmares!

Great podcast of a great show! In depth recaps presented in an entertaining style, laced with insight, humor and a bit of historical background. Perfect for those long commutes to work. Also, the sound on these is SUPERB! I highly recommend this pod, and am looking forward to what they do next.

The first thing I need to do each week — right after Penny Dreadful

I didn’t catch on to Em, Steve, and Paul until about halfway through the second season of Penny Dreadful, just after Paul got started. Since then, I’ve caught up with every one of the previous episodes just as I’ve gone back to re-watch the first season of TV series. They add insight, wit, and all kinds of detail that I just don’t catch on my own (at least not on the first watch). Sorry, though, I have a clear bias for Em — whose mind is not only sharp as a razor (which is why she called Ethan as the werewolf from the get-go), but who has a voice that’s the next best thing to watching Eva Green on TV. :-)
