Fresh Approach and Relevant Information
I am a photography podcast addict. I listen to all of the good ones and some of the bad ones. So I was especially interested to hear about a new one. I like the approach. It plays out like a conversation that two friends have over a cup of coffee. Unlike some podcasts, these two friends apparently have lives so their conversation over a cup of coffee doesn't last two hours. The 30-40 minute (ish) duration is about right. Both co-hosts are interesting, have good voices for podcasting, and know their stuff. They have also spent some time preparing for the conversation and know what they are talking about. It comes across very professional and polished.
The best thing about this podcast so far is that they have introduced me to things I can use. For me, that means that my time in listening has been invested wisely. Relevant topics are refreshing in a day when some podcasts spend the majority of their time talking about the latest point-and-shoot released by Pentax or the nifty new printer that Canon has introduced. While it is good to hear product reviews, I don't buy a camera or a printer every week. Thankfully, this podcast has started out on the right track with quick, relevant topics and knowing when it is time to move on to the next topic.
I highly recommend that you listen. Perhaps you, like I, will find a nugget you can use in each episode.
I've been a big fan of Trevor's Current Photographer podcasts and this one is no exception. Trevor and Joseph cover timely topics in an educational and entertaining manner while staying to the point.
This is good!
What a fresh take on photo podcasts! 30 minutes of on topic discussion and tips, not only on how to take and make pictures, but also on gear, apps, social media, and marketing your photo business! Great job guys - you have become one of my top 5 casts!
