Really great

I've found this podcast is forcing me to seek out movies I've been meaning to get to, but always tend to ignore in favor of some terrible new studio movie. And of course, it ends up being a much richer experience to watch an older Almodovar film I've never seen than whatever I can find at the redbox. That alone makes this my favorite movie podcast right now.

Great podcast

I listen to every episode and have to say, not only do these two know their stuff, they're really great at articulating what they think is great about a movie.

Much better than Watching the Directors, which takes a similar approach.

Covers everything from Allen to Zombie with style and substance

Patrick and Jim know their stuff, but it's anything but a dry, stuffy podcast. You'll laugh, you'll learn something, and want to seek out and explore the work of the director's they cover. Their love of film is infectious.
